Constant driving characteristics The advanced technologies used in the new BT-023 bring significant improvements compared to its predecessor, the Battlax BT-021. Significant improvements have been made, especially in the mileage and wet grip attributes that are relevant for a touring sport tire. Mileage - wet grip The higher mileage and improved wet grip are mainly achieved through a redesigned profile and the use of new silica-rich rubber compounds. Comfort and stability The front and rear wheels of the BT-023 feature monospiral belt designs (MSBs) that allow the BT-023 to provide high self-damping, secure traction and the best straight-line stability on the highway. The used 3-layer compound rubber compound (3LC) on the rear wheel has an adhesive mixture on the tire shoulder and a more stable rubber compound in the middle of the tread.
